About The Company

The Welsh Government Qatar represents the devolved government for Wales within the State of Qatar. The office was opened in August 2018 and is responsible for supporting Welsh businessmen/ women and companies that wish to engage in trade and investment, tourism, cultural and educational opportunities within the State of Qatar. Based at the British Embassy in Doha, the Welsh Government has offices across India and the Middle East and we work closely with Welsh based stakeholders such as VisitWales and Cardiff Airport as well as local partners such as the FCO, Department of International Trade (DIT) and the British Council. We also engage with our Qatari host Government departments and companies to promote Wales as a destination for trade, business, leisure, education and health services.
